Day 01: Delhi
Arrive Delhi in the morning to start your Buddhist Pilgrimage Tour, after arriving at Delhi you will be met and
greeted by our representative. Transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Delhi - Agra
In the morning, drive to Agra. In 4 to 5 hours, reach Agra; Visit the historical monument Taj Mahal built by Emperor
Shahjahan. Later visit the Agra Fort. Overnight stay is at Agra hotel followed by dinner.
Day 03: Agra - Lucknow
Early morning, drive to Lucknow needs 9 hrs via Sankisa. A popular place of Lord Buddha, along with Brahma and
Devraj Indra and then proceed to Lucknow for an overnight stay.
Day 04: Lucknow - Balrampur- Lumbini
In the next morning drive to Balrampur located 134 kms from Lucknow, explore all the places of attraction at Lucknow.
Now drive to Lumbini (about 4 hours) after arriving at Lumbini transfer to a hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Maya Devi
temple - the birth place Of Lord Buddha. And stay overnight at the hotels of Lumbini.
Day 05: Lumbini - Kushinagar
Next morning, drive to Kushinagar 4 hrs to Lumbini and on arrival transfer to a hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 06: Kushinagar - Patna
morning, transfer to Patna to visit its significant attractions related to life and activities of Lord Buddha. Make your visit
to the place where lays the huge statue of the reclining Buddha. Also go for a meaningful exploration to Rambhar
stupa where Lord Buddha was cremated.
Afternoon, drive to Patna and check in a hotel for night stay.
Day 07: Patna - Bodhgaya
Morning after breakfast drive to Bodhgaya via Nalanda. And then move to 'Rajgir' the royal palace' for both
Buddhist and Jains. Further, drive to Bodhgaya for an overnight stay and dinner.
Day 08: Bodhgaya
unfurl the most important Buddhist pilgrimage center of India-Bodhgaya. The significance of the place is that
Lord Sakyamuni (Gautam Buddha) started meditating after being enthused by the sufferings of mankind. The giant
Bodhi tree is the prime spot of attraction at bodhgaya where Prince Siddhartha meditated and finally attained Nirvana.
Overnight stay is at the hotel in Bodhgaya.
Day 9: Bodhgaya - Varanasi
Morning, drive to Varanasi another Buddhist pilgrimage attraction, requires about 7 hrs to drive. Upon your arrival at
Varanasi transfer to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 10: Varanasi - Delhi
Morning starts with a holy boat ride to Ganges to see various Ghats. Late morning, visit Sarnath, about 10 kms from
the holy city of Varanasi where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon, after attaining nirvana. Later, move to
Varanasi Railway Station to board overnight train to Delhi.
Day 11: Delhi
Upon your arrival at Delhi in the morning check in the hotel. Later take a Delhi sightseeing tour. Visit all the historical
monuments of Delhi, as the India Gate, The Red Fort, the Jama Masjid and the Qutub Minar. In the evening
explore the latest architectural ventures as the Lotus temple and the Akshardham Mandir. In the evening, return to
Delhi hotel and stay overnight.
Day 12: Delhi
Leave Delhi in the morning to catch your flight for onward desired destination.
